What I Love About Reno

Dsc00036_9

July 9,2007 10:00 am Took this picture On My Way To Lake Tahoe.

I knew I just had to go to Tahoe. My whole body on average needs a vast body of water once every 2 months. It was the perfect day.  That’s what I love about living in Reno, there are so many spur-of-the-moment places that are less than an hour. I just have to be brave enough to go out of my daily routine and just do it.

It was worth it.

After around 20 miles of Mountain Views This is the first extensive view of the Lake.(If you’re coming from Mt Rose 395 South ) .

Breath-taking.

Dsc00038_edited_2 This is the last picture I took before plunging in the cold but bearable July lake tahoe water. All this within an hour drive from Reno.

I rented a kayak  for $20/hour (third hour free!). I paddled for about 200 meters from the shore and jumped into the water.

Owww! being one with nature nothing beats it! The water is crystal clear, weather was perfect.

Whoever put Blues beside Monday is a fool.
