Sparks Number of Homes For Sale: Nov 2005-Dec 2007

About: We'll review the number of homes for sale in Sparks for the period of Nov 2005-Dec 2007

WIIFM (what's in it for me?):  By observing the inventory of homes for sale in the Sparks real estate market (for the past twenty-six months) we can have a better picture on what the local market is currently doing and has done.  This will greatly help us in judging the general health of the Sparks Real Estate market.

Highlights: Sparks inventory of homes has been experiencing a downward trend.(a positive sign)  From the peak of 1,708 homes in June 2006 to 1,056 homes as of Nov 2007- a decrease of 38%.  This trend has continued in the last month of 2007.   We are currently down  43% from the peak in June 2006.

Observation/comments:A breath of fresh air but continue observing other local market factors (ex: Sparks homes Sold-to be released next week).   

This is something that is beginning to interest me.  43% less inventory from the peak.  That's pretty big numbers.  And that is a good sign for the market.  Though I would love to see the Sparks Homes SOLD compliment this data.

The Sold's report will be released every 19'th of the month.
